Interdisciplinary Team Member Highlight – What does a family advocate do?

June 6, 2022

This week for our Interdisciplinary Team Member Highlight, we are explaining the role of Family Advocate. Our Family Advocate is the first point of contact for clients at the CAC. The Family Advocate completes intake paperwork and needs assessments with presenting caregivers and follows up with clients for at least 6 months after the initial interview. We are so grateful the time and effort that the Family Advocate puts in with families to help help them feel supported and empowered! #preventchildabuse #advocate
