Qualifications

Description of Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises residents and ensures that appropriate rules and regulations are followed during on/off campus activities.

Key Responsibilities

+Care Specialist - Therapeutic Foster Care Columbus

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology or other social services field plus two years’ experience in social services working with children and families OR Master’s degree in social services field and one year of related work experience. Foster care system and/or mental health work experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provides comprehensive case coordination for children diagnosed with a
range of behavioral health, developmental and medical diagnoses who are
placed in therapeutic foster homes.
2. Takes primary responsibility for overseeing that children’s emotional and
mental health needs are being met in the therapeutic program.
3. Provides regular technical assistance and support to the Therapeutic
Foster Parents in the implementation of the Master Service Plan.
4. Provides support to the birth families for children served.
5. Acts as a liaison to community and advocate for provision of services for
children.
6. Provides crisis intervention services and emergency on-call support.
7. Responsible for documentation, filing and maintenance of child records in
accordance with TCYFS policy, licensing and funding source
requirements.
8. Processes client and foster parent-related data for financial purposes.
9. Completes new admission intakes and placement move processes as
assigned.
10. Participates in problem-solving and incident management for Therapeutic
Foster Care program.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

+Fund Development & Marketing Associate - Development & Marketing - Columbus, GA

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years work experience with demonstrated ability to successfully execute fundraising projects
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and web-based databases, etc.
  • Experience with social media marketing desired
  • Strong organizational & project management skills, with an attitude of teamwork and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage large amounts of data, contact lists and giving information

Organizational Relationships

  1. Events- Contributes to the success of special events in all communities served by TCYFS, from planning to completion.

  3. Donor Development- Participates in grant-writing process, in collaboration with the Development Team

I. Qualifications

II. Organizational Relationships and General Description

  • Reports to Executive Director
  • Provides supervision to Accounting Staff

III. Description of Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports for TCYFS, Inc. and the Twin Cedars Foundation, Inc.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the annual budget for TCYFS, Inc. Prepares the annual budget for the Twin Cedars Foundation, Inc.
  • Responsible for the preparation of annual reports for the Georgia Department of Human Services. Responsible for the preparation of the annual audits for TCYFS, Inc. and the TC Foundation, Inc. Responsible for the preparation of State and Federal tax returns.
  • Responsible for the supervision of the Finance department staff.
  • Responsible for the preparation of budgets for new projects prior to submitting a proposal, including a comprehensive business plan or proforma for TCYFS, Inc., the TC Foundation, Inc. and staff.
  • Takes part in the development of contracts and memos of understanding with State and Federal agencies, school systems and other payees and advises the Executive Director, Leadership Team and Board of Directors prior to entering into contract by providing needed financial information.
  • Maintains knowledge of current policies, laws, trends and developments in the accounting/finance field.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/M.Ed/Ed.S degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience preferred.
  • Must hold valid State of Georgia Teaching Certificate for Media Specialist.
  • Ability to work well with others, communicate effectively (both written and verbal).
  • Act as an adovcate for the Agency’s prgram , the education profession and quality child care treatment.
  • Adhere to and uphold the highest standards in techniques, theory, and practice quality educational programming for ‘at risk’ youth.

Key Responsibilities 

  1.  Provides Media Center services to students and staff.

Organizational Relationships and General Description

  • Reports to Assistant Program Director and Maintenance Supervisor
  • Interacts with contractors, visitors and staff

Description of Key Responsibilities

  •  Under close to general supervision, performs simple construction, repairs and preventive maintenance to buildings and related fixtures, hardware, equipment, devices and vehicles. Drives company vehicle to pick up required parts and supplies. Performs assigned grounds maintenance duties.

1. Performs simple carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and preventive maintenance tasks. Completes simple renovation and construction projects.
2. Maintains fire safety and security systems. Inspects fire safety and security systems on a routine basis. Oversees inspection, maintenance and repair of fire and security systems by licensed contractors.
3. Uses and maintains tools, supplies, materials and equipment in a secure, safe, clean and orderly manner.
4. Responds to routine and emergency requests for repairs and maintenance. Addresses Maintenance Requests within established standard of promptness. Contacts Assistant Director or Maintenance Supervisor regarding emergency situations according to established protocol. Procures required parts and supplies at selected vendors. +Family Advocate/Forensic Interviewer - Twin Cedars Child Advocacy Center - Opelika, AL

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in a social services field
  • Prior case management and child welfare preferred
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional hours
  • Working knowledge of community resources and ability to make appropriate individualized referrals to meet client’s needs
  • Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to provide a trauma informed approach
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the psychological and emotional forces affecting survivors of abuse/neglect
  • Complete Forensic Interviewing of Children through the National Child Advocacy Center required within first 6 months of employment

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports to Program Coordinator
  • Responsible for participating in on-call rotations
  • Manages day-to-day activities of the Forensic Interview Program
  • Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team composed of members from: the Department of Human Resources, local, state, and federal law enforcement, members from the 5th and 37th judicial circuits, medical and mental health professionals, and intensive in-home service professionals
