Adult Parenting The Adult Parenting Program is an interactive program designed to assist class participants in developing appropriate parenting skills and developing the skills necessary to change inappropriate parenting behaviors.
The model used for the parenting curriculum is designed to teach alternative behaviors to physical and emotional abuse and is used as a tool for increasing awareness of the developmental needs of children. It is the intent of this agency to promote healthy and appropriate interactions between parents and children.
Classes are available for those who have been mandated to attend parenting classes. We also accept self-referrals for those interested in improving one's parenting skills.
